How long has it been since I have been here! I couldn't even remember my password sad huh?

Update on our crew....

I started my new job and I LOVE it, but after sitting on a computer all day at work who really wants to come home and get on the computer? Hence why I haven't updated!!!

We are in full swing with SEC football! GO VOLS!!!! Someone needs to help them out, Good Ole Rocky Top isn't doing so swell!

Amanda had her ultrasound yesterday...IT'S A GIRL! Kayla is not too thrilled about it. She was set on a boy. She just learned in Math class about less than, equal to and more than. She decided that she and Amanda have each other and Dusty needed a boy in order to make the family equal to! She is only 6...too smart!!! After finding out, Kayla and I went and bought the baby her first dress and hairbow!!!

We went to the lake with McKinley's family a few weekends ago. I am not really the lake kinda gal...I have a problem when you can't see below you! I just know there were snakes swimming right next to me! It was fun riding the boat though!

We had a rough two weeks...Our Fat Max, Brian got him back in Utah when we were dating, got sick and died. Apparently he had diabetes and his liver shut down while he was at the vet's for the weekend. We were going to bury him but they literally had him in an Iams cat food box like the box they get all their cat food in, you know from FedEx. It was huge, so while we were (well Brian) was digging up the yard, we both are crying and talking to Fat Max in the massive box, we decided it was too much and decided to have him cremated. So while still crying we start filling in the hole, putting the sod back on and carry the HUGE box back in the house. Our neighbors probably think we are NUTS!

Do you know they actually have a Pet funeral home, like little animal caskets and bulletins, I mean the whole nine yards. Kinda weird!

Well hopefully I will be more on top of this whole blogging deal!

I Need Rest!

The Olympics are killing me!!! Why am I addicted to it and why does it come on so darn late??? I love love love Michael Phelps and Shawn Johnson!!! Michael Phelps is so amazing, bless his heart he isn't the least bit attractive but my goodness his athletic ability is so awesome! Shawn Johnson is AWESOME, I was a bit sad that she only got Silver but come on that means she is the second BEST gymnast in the world!!! She is only 4'9" and 85 lbs, I totally see that being McKinley one day!!!

I finished my last week of work, it was sad but I am so excited to start the new one on Monday!!! Sounds like I am going to be in training for the next 8 or 9 weeks... I heard it's about like school, at least I will getting paid while I sit there and learn!

Well my mom, Amanda, Kayla, McKinley and I are headed to get Pedicures, I will let ya know if anything good happens this weekend...

Homespun Fun!

Hey just got back from a great trip to the Smoky Mountains! Brian and I drove up with Kayla and McKinley, my parents came up as well. Not sure if I mentioned this but my parents bought a condo in Gatlinburg and after several months of gutting it, we finally get to use it. Friday we all went to Splash Country it was so much fun, it is great for kids and adults! While I was there, I found out that I got the job that was causing me so much anxiety wondering if I got it or not!!! I am so pumped... Ok back to the trip, Amanda and Dusty came up Friday night and Sat. we got up and went to Dollywood. If you have never been, then you have to go. I mean where else can you ride roller coasters, eat a bowl of beans and hear good ole hillbilly music!!!

When I was growing up, every summer we would go to Tennessee for vacation and I have very fond memories of going to Dollywood with all my extended family. I can just see my Papaw sitting on a bench telling us he is just waitin' for Dolly!!! Man I sure do miss him...

For the jellybean update (Amanda's baby) he or she is doing very well but making Manda very sick and very hateful. She is already growing out of her clothes but losing weight at the same time from being sick. Not sure how that works but oh well. We will find out what the little jellybean is gonna be sometime in Oct! Can't wait!!!

Belated Fun...

Ok I know it has been awhile since I've updated so here we go.... Kayla had a belated B-day party since she was in South Dakota for her actual B-day June 2. So we had a Slumber Party! Which we have about once a month anyway. Me, Kinley, Kayla, Amanda and Laramie. We did hair and makeup and danced to the Grease soundtrack all night (The girl's favorite movie) Then the next morning we got up and went to the Atlanta Zoo...it was a lot of fun!!! Much needed Girls Weekend...

What another crazy week... Where is the summer going? I had such big plans, all these fun weekend trips and none of them have happened....yet! I am headed to Atlanta this weekend for the Deeper Still Conference. My mom, Lisa, and my friend Shantel are going and meeting my Aunt's church from TN. I love, love, love Beth Moore and Travis!!! Mine and Brian's family have known Travis for about ten years now. We met him at a youth camp in New Mexico back before he was Famous! So it is always nice to chat with him and get the scoop on his fam and tell him about ours... I know it will be a great weekend and the Lord will be blessed!

I have next week off from work and I plan to work....on my tan!!! There are 100 other things I need to do...work in the yard, spring/summer clean, etc. However I feel as though my ability to get as dark as possible is more of a priority!!!

Too much...

It has been an exhausting couple of weeks! Brian is recuperating from surgery, everything went great and he starts physical therapy on Thursday. He has to do it for three weeks then hopefully he can start playing B-ball again, since he misses it so much!!!

We having been traveling back and forth to South Carolina. We lived there about 17 years ago and made some life long friends. So my babysitter (Mertis) from way back when has cancer and there is nothing more they can do. She has a grandson my age that lived with them, he was my best friend. He taught me how to shoot a gun!!! So my mom, dad and I went two weekends ago, she was doing pretty bad and they didn't think she would make it much longer. Amanda, Dusty and Kayla were on vacation in South Dakota so she didn't get to go with us. So when she got home she wanted to go and see her. We got up Sat. morning drove 4.5 hours and thought we would visit for a hour or so and head home. When we got to the hospital Mertis was up in the bed talking and looking like a different person from a week ago. In fact she got released from the hospital while we were there. Granted there is nothing more any doctors can do but God can do anything! We didn't leave their house until 9 that night and drove home. We were so tired we could barely keep our eyes opened, but we made it home safely. I don't think I will do anymore day trips to S.C., it was too much!!!

Now for the BIG news! Amanda and Dusty are going to have a BABY!!! I can't believe it, everyone is so excited!!! She is due February 5, 2009! Please pray everything goes well!

Just Awful...

Brian is having knee surgery today and I had to just drop him off and leave him by himself. I feel terrible, but I had no choice but to come back to work.... So I am just waiting on a call from the Doc letting me know how if went and then a call from the nurse for him to be picked up. A friend of ours is gonna pick him up for me. I am a bad wife!
He hurt his knee from playing basketball for four hours every day, not sure if he is trying out for the NBA soon or what, but the boy loves basketball! He will be on crutches for a week and then have physical therapy, not sure how long for that. Anyway pray that everything goes well and that he doesn't have fits from not playing basketball!!!

The Magical World of Disney...

What a great time we had this past weekend. You just gotta love Disneyworld! We got down there Friday evening and stayed at the Fort Wilderness campground which by the way is very very nice! We stayed in the motor home with the Fullers. We got up Sat. morning and went to Blizzard Beach. Shannon and I took the kids around while Brian, Stacey and Dalton rode the big kid slides. Then we did a few of the slides the kids could go on, we all had a blast. Later that night we headed to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Pirates and Princess Party, it was from 7-12am. The weather was perfect and hardly anyone there, by that I mean that the guys rode Space Mountain 5 times in a row in 45 min. Now most of you know that you are lucky if the wait for Space Mountain is only 45 min. Of course Shannon, me and Mrs. Fuller took the kids around to meet the characters. McKinley was so darn cute. She was so excited to meet everyone, the other two could take it or leave it, except when Jarred got a little smooch from Jasmine! Kinley was the most excited about Peter Pan! She told him how much she loved him and Captain Hook... It is funny how none of them ever break character!!! Finally Shannon and I got to ride a few adult rides before we left after midnight!!! We all slept great that night! We got up the next morning and did a little shopping at Downtown Disney and headed home. It certainly was a packed weekend but it was Great!

Amanda and I went to Kayla's school to watch her get her Kindergarten certificate (public schools don't do a graduation). Her class sang a few songs it was too cute. She looked just like Dusty standing up there, tall and skinny! After that Manda, me and Misty (her mom) took her to pizza hut and then just Manda and I took her to the park. She told Misty she needed some alone time with us, since we only get her every other weekend. Silly kid!

Amanda and I have been bustin it at the gym again, well I have been going all along, she just decided to join me again!!! I think I have a love/hate relationship with the gym, I feel great once I get there and feel even better when I'm done, it's the whole getting pumped to go is the problem... The thing is, my motivating BFF in Seattle thought that these great pants she bought me would be best one size smaller. So in order to NOT look like J-Lo in them I must slave at the gym! Thanks L-Dub!!!

I started school, I have class Tuesday and Wednesday 530 - 1030... YIPES! I just keep thinking only eight classes summer semester, not that bad, could be worse!

Brian and I are headed to DISNEYWORLD this weekend! We are meeting McKinley and her family down there... I am so excited to see her see Mickey. She has been so excited to go since Granny mentioned it months ago. However we aren't going with Granny this time, she better take this kid to Disney too!!! I will post tons of pics after!!!

Still haven't seen Indiana Jones :(

Brian is on swing shifts right now so it was just the girl (McKinley) and I on Friday. We did a little shopping at my home away from home...Walmart! We were browsing through the pet area and Kinley decided she needed some goldfish...Well we all know me that if she wants it, she gets it! So we got two goldfish, that I was sure would be dead from a heart attack before we even paid for them. Once she sat on the bag, dropped the bag, and beat the bag to death trying to talk to the fish! In the end they made it home and we named them Nathan and Hayley (cutest couple ever from One Tree Hill!)

Kayla had a Gymnastics meet on Saturday so Dusty, Amanda, Brian, McKinley and I took the two hour drive to watch her do her thang! She really is good! (Not just saying that cause she's my niece) She is suppose to try out for the competitive team this summer. She changes her mind every few days or so whether she will try out or not! She thinks she might want to do dance instead. McKinley also takes gymnastics so she thought she needed to show off a bit too!

We took the kids to the movies on Sat. night to see Horton Hears a Who. It was pretty cute, the kids liked it. There are so many movies out that I want to see right now, really I am just waiting for Indiana Jones to come out!!! Gotta love all these old men making action flicks again!!!
